Do you wonder how websites get to rank high in Google? Was it all about rank popularity and relevance of websites? People get an impression that Goggle ranked websites, but it really does not. Google ranks the relevance of pages that composes a website. Each page is ranked independently from one another. Now if you are seeing a website that ranks high, it does only mean the homepage of the website is the one that ranked well. Google ranks through popular relevant keywords used in that specific page that rank high in Google search result.

Popularity rank of pages depends on the different keywords that are used in those specific pages. This is where SEO or Search Engine Optimization comes in. SEO is the process used by most webmasters to promote and help website pages get popular rankings in search engines. It is easier to target a specific keyword phrase or keyword per page than it is to try getting one page to rank for many different keywords that are not relevant.

Link Building Strategies and Tips

I will not lie to you and tell you how easy it is to build back links and move your site or blog to the first page of Google results. In fact, it is not easy, but neither too difficult to achieve if you know how to do it and have a strategy in your mind. Below, I am going to share with you 10 easy ways to build back links, but before you proceed, be sure you are committing to continue and you will not give up until you succeed. You do not need any special qualifications in order to do it, you don’t need to have any experience in the field, you just need to be focused and have set your goals.

1. Build Squidoo lenses and link back to your blog or site. Build lenses is easy and free and you can get tons of traffic.

2. Build Hubpages. This is similar to lenses, but doing both will drive much more traffic to your main site

3.Article Marketing. Write articles and submit them to article directories. This is also a free method, but it needs much more time than the previous too. Writing an article is a time consuming strategy, but to be honest is one of the most effective methods you can use

Getting Top Rank with Link Popularity

Link popularity is not a very common term that you may come across. But if you ask me, I will definitely say that it is a process that will surely help you get a higher ranking for your website. Most of the search engines actually use this process to give a better ranking to your site.

One of the most common strategies that people adopt in order to popularize their link is by using the FFA or Free For All sites. These are the sites, where you can submit your e-mail id and the link to your website. In the FFA sites, hundreds of links are being added every minute. In the FFA sites, your link will stay for a few hours at the most and then will be replaced by the new links. Even though your link may stay in the FFA sites for a long time, you will not get any benefits from it. The search engines do not accept the links of the FFA sites and treat them as spasm. So, it is better for you if you do not use the FFA sites for your link popularity process.
