Banner advertising is considered as one of the main advertising methods in online media. But as Web 2.0 becomes more and more popular banner advertising is becoming older and not so effective. And yes, of course, there are some types of businesses which really needs to get involved in banner advertising, those are often large companies, but small businesses cannot afford such luxury to gamble with their advertising funds using this type of advertising and it is much better to start some PPC campaign instead.
